Natatanging Gawad Lasalyanong Edukasyon

  1. Newly admitted regular student
  2. Filipino citizen and resident of the Philippines
  3. Graduate of Grade 10 from Science schools and/or biggest public schools (whose Principals are ranked as Principal 3 or 4) in terms of the school population in the Province of Cavite, Metro Manila, CALABARZON, and other areas in the country.
  4. Top 1 or 2 of the batch
REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Letter of Recommendation from high school principal certifying status as:Top 1 or Top 2
  1. Photocopy of High School Report Card (Form-138)
  2. Certificate of Moral Character
  3. Letter of Intent
  4. Most recent Income Tax Return ITR) of parents or Affidavit of Non-Filing of ITR
  5. Certificate of Employment of Parents
  6. Most recent billing statement (e.g. electricity, water, telephone, internet, cable, etc.)
  7. Vicinity map/sketch of the location of the house
  8. Interview with the Director for Special Health Sciences High School and Vice Chancellor for Academics

Entrance Scholarship

  1. Newly admitted regular student
  2. Filipino citizen and resident of the Philippines
  3. Graduate of Grade 10 who belongs to Top 1 or Top 2 of the batch
  4. Recommendation letter from high school principal, certifying status as: Top 1 or Top 2
  5. Photocopy of High School Report Card (Form 138)
  6. Certificate of Moral Character
  7. Letter of Intent

Academic Scholarship

Student admitted to the Grade 11 shall automatically be classified as Academic Scholar during the succeeding school year provided he/she is included in the Top 5 of the batch. REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Recommendation letter from the Chair for Academics duly approved by Director for Special Health Sciences High School, certifying status as: Top 1, Top 2, Top 3, Top 4 or Top 5
  2. With a grade not lower than 85 in all subjects and a general average of not lower than 90%
  3. Copy of Certificate of Moral Character
  4. Photocopy of Grade 11 Report Card
  5. Letter of Intent

Service Scholarship

  1. Regular student with at least on the 2nd semester of playing as varsity or 2nd semester of active membership and participation with the institutional chorale of DLSHSI
  2. Officers of the Institutional Student Council (ISC) (President, Vice President for Academics, Vice President for Activities, Vice President for Operations, Vice President for Finance, Vice President for Publicity and Mobilization, Executive Secretary, and SHSHS Assembly President); Editorial Board of the SHSHS Newsletter; and Saringhimig (SH) (President, Vice President for Internals, Vice President for Externals, Secretary, Treasurer, and College Representatives)
  3. Winners in international, national, regional, and provincial sports and choral competitions
  4. With good academic standing with grades not lower than 80.
  5. General Weighted Average (GWA) of 83.
  6. Has a rating of 80% based on the Varsity/Chorale Point Scoring Checklist of the Director for Sports, Culture and Special Events
  7. Certificate of Moral Character
  8. Letter of Intent
Note: No Service Scholarship application shall be entertained for varsity and Saringhimig unless the applicants concerned have secured a recommendation/point scoring checklist coming from their respective coaches duly approved by the Director for Sports, Culture and Special Events.  

Scholarship Privileges

Full tuition including miscellaneous, special assessment and other fees including book and uniform allowances, physical and other medical examinations required by the Special Health Sciences High School, and 1 Unit of Ipad

Entrance Scholarship

  • Top 1 with 100 and above total number of graduating students
             100% of the Total Tuition Fees
  • Top 2 with 100 and above total number of graduating students
            50 % of the Total Tuition Fees

Service Scholarship

100% discount from the tuition fee – Champion (Gold Medalist) in any sports competition (Individual Category) in the international level 50% discount from the tuition fee -Champion (Gold Medalist) in any sports competition (Individual Category) in the national level and runner-up in the international level 40% discount from the tuition fee -Champion (Gold Medalist) in any sports competition (Individual Category) in the regional levels and qualifier in the international level and special awardee in Doubles or Group Competitions 30% discount from the tuition fee – Champion (Medalist) in any sports competition (Individual Category) in the provincial level and Presidents of the Institutional Student Council, Saringhimig and Editor-in-Chief of the SHSHS Newsletter 25% discount from the tuition fee – other officers of the Institutional Student Council and SHSHS Assembly President 20% discount from the tuition fee – Medalists in any sports or choral singing competition (Double or Group Category) in provincial, regional, national, and international levels, Editorial Boards of the SHSHS Newsletter, other officers of Saringhimig 10% discount from the tuition fee – Institutional Student Council Legislative Assembly, other Saringhimig members and varsity players Note:The scholarship privilege shall be applied during the succeeding semester after winning in the competition in the case of athletes and Saringhimig members. Furthermore, only the highest percentage shall be applied in case the recipient is qualified to more than one (1) scholarship privilege.
