Let us all remember that we are in the Holy Presence of God.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Jn 20:11-16
Mary Magdalene stayed outside the tomb weeping. And as she wept, she bent over into the tomb
and saw two angels in white sitting there, one at the head and one at the feet where the body of Jesus had
been.
And they said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them, “They have taken my Lord, and I
don’t know where they laid him.”
When she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus there, but did not know it was Jesus.
Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you looking for?” She thought it was the
gardener and said to him, “Sir, if you carried him away, tell me where you laid him, and I will take him.”
Jesus said to her, “Mary!” She turned and said to him in Hebrew, “Rabbouni,” which means Teacher.

Reflection
We have seen how Mary Magdalene was great affected by the death of Jesus. Her time was not wasted
when she went to the tomb and wept. Jesus appeared to her. She was the first disciple to see the
Resurrected Christ. The good news here is that in times of sorrow, Jesus tells us that His heart is with us,
comforting and consoling us. Why do you think a woman like Mary Magdalene was given the great honor of
seeing the resurrected Christ first? What does it mean to you?

Lasallian Guiding Principle
LGP states that, Zeal “is oriented towards the integral salvation of persons, particularly the poor and the
excluded.” Lasallian zeal towards integral salvation is demonstrated by a Lasallian Donation Drive to raise
funds for those affected by the lockdown especially the contractual employees. We even saw ordinary people
doing their part like giving free transportation for those patients affected by the lockdown. This what selfless
service is all about.

Oratio Imperata on the Threat of the COVID-19 (CBCP)
God our Father,
we come to You in our need to ask Your protection
against the COVID-19 that has disturbed us
and claimed many lives.
We pray that You guide the people tasked to find cure
for this disease and to stem its transmission.
Protect the medical experts and healthcare personnel
that they may minister to the sick with competence and compassion.
We pray for those afflicted. May they be restored to health soon.
Protect those who care for them. Grant eternal rest to those who have died.
Give us grace in this trying time to work for the good of all and to help those in need.
We implore You to stop the spread of this virus and to save us from our fears.
Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son
who lives and reigns with You,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God forever and ever. Amen.
Our Lady of the Star, pray for us!
St. John Baptist de La Salle, pray for us!
St. Miguel Febres Cordero, pray for us!
Live Jesus in our hearts, forever!
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
