Let us all remember that we are in the Holy Presence of God.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Lk 24:30-32
And it happened that, while he was with them at table, he took bread,
said the blessing, broke it, and gave it to them.
With that their eyes were opened and they recognized him,
but he vanished from their sight.
Then they said to each other, “Were not our hearts burning
(within us) while he spoke to us on the way and opened the scriptures to us?”

Reflection
For us, Filipinos, the best thing to gather people is by offering them food. We believe that our spiritual food,
Eucharistic bread and the Body of Christ, is the greatest symbol of God’s selfless love. According to
Tertullian, ancient historian, we can identify Christians from other followers by how they love one another.
This love enables one to die for one another. God’s love is symbolized by this spiritual food, the bread of
life. What is the symbol of God’s selfless love for you?

Lasallian Guiding Principle
LGP states that, Zeal “involves a preferential concern for the poor and the vulnerable.” We, Lasallians are
obliged to be an instrument of hope and courage to help the people and our community to overcome the
challenges that we are facing today. May we be proud of all the frontliners in our institution. Imagine, they
knew the risk, but still they continue to serve and minister to those COVID-19 patients.

Oratio Imperata on the Threat of the COVID-19 (CBCP)
God our Father,
we come to You in our need to ask Your protection
against the COVID-19 that has disturbed us
and claimed many lives.
We pray that You guide the people tasked to find cure
for this disease and to stem its transmission.
Protect the medical experts and healthcare personnel
that they may minister to the sick with competence and compassion.
We pray for those afflicted. May they be restored to health soon.
Protect those who care for them. Grant eternal rest to those who have died.
Give us grace in this trying time to work for the good of all and to help those in need.
We implore You to stop the spread of this virus and to save us from our fears.
Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son
who lives and reigns with You,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God forever and ever. Amen.
Our Lady of the Star, pray for us!
St. John Baptist de La Salle, pray for us!
St. Miguel Febres Cordero, pray for us!
Live Jesus in our hearts, forever!
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
